Questions? 662-280-5444
After being accepted to the university, all Leighton University students receive a Leighton email account.
- Your Leighton email account must be used for ALL Leighton University electronic communications about academic matters.
- You are responsible for any announcement or assignment that a faculty member sends to your Leighton address. You should check your account regularly.
- Faculty and administration will only communicate academic and official information to your Leighton email account.
What happens to my email address after I leave the University?
If you graduate from Leighton University, you will be able to retain your email account. However, if you do not log in at least once every 365 days, you will lose your email account. Also, if your email address was [email protected], it would remain as [email protected] for logging in. Any email sent to the old [email protected] will still be able to be delivered.
Suppose you do NOT graduate from Leighton University and are no longer an active student. In that case, you will lose your email account. Access will be removed shortly after you are officially separated from the institution.
What happens to my email address if I return to the University?
Suppose you are an alum of Leighton and still have your university email account. In that case, your email address will switch from [email protected] to [email protected] for logging in. Any email sent to the @leighton-edu.us address will still be able to be delivered.
If you did NOT graduate from Leighton University or you are an alum, but your email account was deleted, a new account will be created for you with the same email address.
What is my email password?
Getting Your Password – New User
Suppose you are a new student who has not accessed your email or any other Leighton services such as MyLeighton. In that case, you will need to activate your account first. Go to the Account Activation tab and step thru the process. You will need access to the phone number or email address you submitted on your application.
