What Are Holds?
Holds are placed on a student's account when they have not completed the University's requirements or have not paid their outstanding bill.
What do I do if I have a “Hold" on my account?
Make sure you take action required to remove the Hold before you are scheduled to register for classes. If it is an academic hold, the first step is to call the Office of the Registrar. If it is a financial hold, contact the Office of Student Accounts. All holds shown the originator who placed the Hold to understand how to remove the Hold. Students with an outstanding balance cannot register or receive transcripts because Financial Holds block them. It would be best if you took action immediately.
