Tuition Refund Policy
Students who withdraw from classes may be due a refund of all or a portion of their tuition and fees. Please check with the University’s Student Accounts Office regarding the status of your account. Full refund of tuition is usually allowed before classes start and a prorated refund after the beginning of the active Term. The complete Tuition Refund Policy can be found here. Scholarship funds will be paid based on the number of days enrolled. Withdrawing during the first 25% days of the 6 or 8 week Term will impact the amount of refundable tuition and fees.
General Refund Information
When it comes to deciding how to get your money, you deserve choices. Your choices include either a direct deposit or forwarding your refund, in the form of a check to you. The choice is up to the student. Below are some information to keep in mind:
- It is strongly recommended that all students sign up for direct deposit of refunds. Students may sign up online via myLeighton.
- For students who do not use direct deposit, checks will be mailed to the permanent address listed on record.
- Refund checks are made payable to the student, with the exception of refunds generated due to the third party. Direct deposit of refunds may go to any bank account designated by the student through myLeighton.
