Our Counseling & Advocacy Services (CAS) office is focused on helping you to gain greater knowledge about yourself and your relationships with others, identify your strengths, and face any challenges in making healthy and meaningful choices in your life. We offer confidential counseling based on a holistic view of individual development.
Our counselors offer assistance and coaching in :
• Career Planning
• Interpretation and guidance of Leighton's policies and procedures
• Conflict Resolution
• Learning Strategies/Study Skills
• Personal Challenges
When appropriate, referrals will be recommended to community agencies and services.
How Counseling Works
Leighton students are eligible for three free counseling sessions per academic year. We have a knowledgeable and experienced staff is ready to provide or connect to a resources and closer to your hometown or community.
