Appointment Via Phone or Teams
The most advantageous way to reach your Academic Navigator is through a scheduled appointment. You may reserve time to conference with your academic Navigator to engage in academic planning and ask questions by scheduling an appointment online or by calling (662).280 5444.
Scheduled appointments are for 30 minutes. Requests can be made for an additional time depending on the complexity of items to discuss with your academic Navigator. Students scheduling phone appointment conferences should have access to a computer with internet access.
Advising Via Email
You may also email your questions to your academic Navigator and receive a response within 24-48 business hours. Occasionally, during peak periods (the first week of the Term, the last week of the Term, and the start of registration), responses may be intermittently delayed, driving the wait time closer to 72 business hours. Consider using Email-only as a supplement to phone advising, as many issues are complex and require thoughtful discussion. All Email correspondence must be sent from your Leighton email account and must contain your full name, LU ID, and phone number so that your academic Navigator may assist you better.
